what would happen (legal ramifications) to the person who leaked the Hugh Jackman movie?
I am having to brainstorm for a class and have hit a roadblock. Would anyone know?
Well the studio would lose allot of money not to mention all the marketing they’ve done to promote the movie. The studio would file a copyright law suit against them and some kind of illegal distribution of protected material suit as well. They would get charged a monster fine and definitely do some jail time (Federal) Who ever leaked it out may have made some money on the side but it won’t cover his/her legal bills. If it was leaked over the internet there will be some kind of computer thumb print on it. This person is screwed.
