When will Harvard’s National Lampoon write a spoof of Meyer’s Twilight Saga?

You’ll remember they did “Bored of the Rings” to mock J.R.R. Tolkien’s famous trilogy. I think that, in the case of Stephanie Meyer’s series, mockery is more deserved, if perhaps less necessary.

It doesn’t have to. Have you actually read the books? They practically parody themselves. “Bella tripped again. It was beautiful and perfect, and I think I’ll throw in a run-on sentence with a comma splice, I think it’s perfect, and beautiful. And then Bella tripped.”

A bunch of my friends and I were hanging out one night. One had the Twilight e-book on her laptop, so we put it up on the television so we could all read along. We actually got about 20 pages in before we had to stop because we were laughing so hard.
